Overview
Northwest Peptides supplies products strictly for laboratory research use only. Due to the nature of research-use-only materials, we are unable to accept returns of opened, used, reconstituted, tampered-with, temperature-sensitive, or otherwise compromised products.
This policy explains when refunds, replacements, or store credits may be considered.
Research Use Only Products
All products sold by Northwest Peptides are intended strictly for lawful laboratory research purposes only.
Products are not intended for human consumption, veterinary use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, clinical use, cosmetic use, dietary use, or any other non-research application.
By placing an order, customers acknowledge that they understand the research-use-only nature of the products and agree to handle, store, and use all materials in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Returns
For safety, integrity, and quality-control reasons, Northwest Peptides generally does not accept returns on research-use-only materials.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Opened products
- Used products
- Reconstituted products
- Products with broken seals
- Products that have left the customer’s control
- Products exposed to improper handling or storage
- Products ordered by mistake
- Products no longer needed
- Customer misunderstanding of product purpose or use
Please do not send products back without contacting Northwest Peptides first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or processed.
Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, missing an item, or contains the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible.
To help us review the issue quickly, please include:
- Your order number
- The product name and size
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the package, label, packing materials, and product if applicable
Northwest Peptides may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion after reviewing the issue.
Shipping Issues
Once an order is handed to the carrier, transit times and delivery handling are controlled by the carrier.
Northwest Peptides is not responsible for delays caused by:
- Carrier delays
- Weather events
- Incorrect shipping addresses
- Failed delivery attempts
- Package refusal
- Theft after delivery
- Packages marked delivered by the carrier
If a package is lost or delayed, please contact us and we will help review tracking information and determine whether a carrier claim or replacement review is appropriate.
Incorrect Shipping Address
Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout.
If an order is shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer, Northwest Peptides may be unable to replace or refund the order.
If you notice an address mistake, contact us immediately. We can only make changes before the order has been packed, labeled, or shipped.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be eligible for cancellation only if they have not yet been processed, packed, labeled, or shipped.
Once an order has entered fulfillment or has been handed to the carrier, it may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
Refunds
Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method when possible.
Refund timing may vary depending on the payment provider, bank, or payment method used. Northwest Peptides cannot control bank or processor posting times after a refund has been issued.
Shipping fees may be non-refundable unless the issue was caused by an error on our part.
Replacements and Store Credit
In some cases, Northwest Peptides may offer a replacement shipment or store credit instead of a refund.
Replacement or credit decisions are made at our discretion based on the circumstances, product type, order history, shipping status, and documentation provided.
COA and Documentation Questions
If your concern relates to product documentation, batch information, or COA access, please contact support before requesting a refund.
COA summaries and clickable PDF documentation are available on applicable product pages beneath the purchase section when available. The homepage product and batch search may also be used to help locate documentation.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are generally not issued for:
- Customer ordering errors
- Change of mind
- Misunderstanding of research-use-only restrictions
- Failure to read product descriptions, disclaimers, or policies
- Improper storage after delivery
- Improper handling after delivery
- Delays caused by the carrier
- Packages marked delivered by the carrier
- Refused or abandoned packages
- Requests involving product use outside permitted research-use-only purposes
